WASCAL DRP-WACS Federal University of Technology Akure hosted the SPREE (Strengthening and Promoting Regional Engineering Education in Africa) Project Annual Meeting 2024 from 29th July to 2nd August 2024. SPREE is funded by the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Schema of the European Union.

DRP-WACS WASCAL Federal University of Technology Akure is privileged to host the SPREE Project Annual Meeting 2024. The meeting brought together more than 8 coordinators from Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, and Europe.  The discussion received input from postgraduate scholars (Masters and Doctoral), who are currently funded by the SPREE project.

DRP-WACS WASCAL Federal University of Technology Akure graciously volunteered its facilities and staff to ensure the smooth running of the program. We were proud to provide a venue for the meeting because we were sure of its impact on the African continent. We look forward to continuing to support educational and community initiatives.
